dosWelcome…

to St John the Evangelist, Kingston upon Thames.

St John’s seeks to be a:

  • loving
  • welcoming
  • inclusive
  • serving
  • questioning
  • outward looking church.

It serves the Spring Grove neighbourhood in the south of Kingston and the congregation is a mix of local people and lots of children.

Everyone is very welcome to the Sunday service at 10am.

On the third Sunday of every month there is also a Quiet Communion Service at 9am.

Building works

The second phase of our building works to install a new kitchen and toilets began on Monday 5th August and is going well. Our Sunday services will continue as normal.

However, there will be no Community Cafe and Little Groovers until the work is completed. We hope that will be the end of November/beginning of December.

Special Announcement

We are delighted that the Reverend Mark Stafford will be joining us as our new Vicar. Mark will be licensed at a service on Monday 28th October at 7.30pm by The Venerable John Kiddle, Archdeacon of Wandsworth. Everyone is invited to come and give Mark and his wife Lucy a warm welcome and we hope you will stay for light refreshments after the service.
