St John’s seeks to be a:

It serves the Spring Grove neighborhood in the south of Kingston and the congregation is a mix of local people and lots of children.


Everyone is very welcome to the Sunday service at 10am.

On the third Sunday of every month there is also a Quiet Communion Service at 9am.


MONDAY 30th March  - Reflective Holy Week service at the United Reformed Church at 7.45pm.  All welcome.


WEDNESDAY 1st April - 7.30pm ‘Were you there?’ a reflective Holy Communion serivce at St John’s


MAUNDY THURSDAY 2nd April  - 7pm at Kingston Methodist Church on the Fairfield.

Instead of our usual informal service and meal this  year we have accepted an invitation to join with our friends at Kingston Methodist Church for their Maundy Thursday Service and Supper

Please let me know if you are planning on coming so I can let them know the numbers for food.


GOOD FRIDAY 3rd April: Churches Together in Kingston Walk of Witness in Kingston Town Centre. Meet at the United Reformed Church at 10am for coffee and hot cross buns.  The walk begins from there at 11am.


1pm-3pm Children’s Good Friday workshop at St John’s : Children’s crafts and activities to celebrate Easter.


3pm All age Good Friday service – this is an informal and interactive service attended by the children from the workshop and anyone else who would like to come along.


Our sister church, All Saints, will be holding the formal, traditional Good Friday service from 1pm-3pm.
