Welcome…

To St John the Evangelist, Kingston.

We are a friendly Anglican Church in south Kingston with a congregation of all ages and we form the Kingston Team Ministry with our sister church, All Saints in Kingston town centre.

We are part of the Diocese of Southwark. We have strong links with the local community, St John's School and Kingston University and the church is used for concerts and by local groups as well as for worship.

Most of our congregation live in the parish and we have a thriving and well attended children's church during our main Sunday service.

NEW YEAR AT ST JOHN’S

Our next Family Service will be on Sunday February 7th at 10am. This will be our annual CHRISTINGLE SERVICE where we celebrate Christ's light and love in the world.

This is a popular service with all the family, and everyone is welcome. It is an opportunity for us to support the work of the Children's Society who do such valuable work with children and young people on the streets, young refugees fleeing from conflict and war and those marginalised through disability.

Events to look out for in February:
St John's PANCAKE SUPPER on Shrove Tuesday, February 16th from 5.00 -7.30pm in the church. See Breaking News - tickets available now.

ASH WEDNESDAY CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES followed by an all age service - see Breaking News for more information.

Details of all events and study groups happening in the team during LENT will follow soon.
