Coffee mornings
Coffee mornings are now held first Friday of the month in aid of specific charities or the St John’s Church Regeneration Appeal.
If you would like to organize one please sign up on the rota at the back of church.
Upcoming charities include:
- 3rd February 2012 – The Children’s Society
- 2nd March 2012 – Lent Appeal for Zimbabwe
Please note coffee mornings may not run at certain times e.g. June exam period.
Christingle
There will be a Christingle service at Candlemas on the 5th February. The collection will be for the Children’s Society.
Foodbank
There will be a box in church from now on so that the congregation can donate to the Foodbank. This scheme provides food for local people in crisis. Read more at http://www.facebook.com/KingstonFoodbank
