The high altar chapel is set aside as a place for quiet prayer in the church where you can light a candle and leave requests for prayer on the prayer board. Requests will be remembered in our weekday services.
If you would like us to pray for you, a particular situation or person you can also contact Vicky our Vicar about it, if you’d like to.
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins
as we forgive those
who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power,
and the glory are yours
now and for ever. Amen.
Growing in faith
We run courses and arrange quiet days with our sister churches; All Saints in Kingston town centre and St John’s, Kingston Vale, to help people reflect on their faith and discuss particular aspects of the Christian life.
We are a sociable church community who enjoy getting together and we hold a number of social events and fundraising events each year, including a Christmas bazaar, quiz night, barn dance and pancake party.
If you would like to get involved with the life of the church you could join our flower arrangers, servers and sidespeople, children’s church leaders and helpers, cake bakers and servers for Sunday refreshments or community choir.
For more information about any of the above contact our administrator on email@example.com or download our latest pew sheet or Saints Alive magazine.
As well as with our Church School, St John’s C of E Primary School on Portland Road, we have many other links locally including with Bedelsford School, Surbiton High Junior Girls School, Kingston University, Rose Theatre, Kingston Adult Education and many local Residents Associations (Spring Grove, Mill Street, Beaufort Road and Fassett Road and Knight’s Park).
Locally, we are pleased to support:
