VOLUNTEERS
Have you ever thought about becoming a sides person, reading the Bible in Church, leading the intercessions, helping to run one of the children’s groups, administering Holy Communion, making tea and coffee after the service or serving the Altar?

Children’s Church
We are always on the look out for leaders and/or helpers to ‘sit in’ with the groups. Work with children is an important part of the life of St. John’s and we would love to involve some other members of the congregation in all the fun! Please contact Emma/Mimi.
Banquet Records shows
We have had a great group of volunteers who have helped at the gigs we have held at Church if you would like to join the team please let Alec know. It’s a really fun way of supporting the church and getting the opportunity to listen to live music and see the Church in ‘gig’ mode!
Flowers in Church
Anyone is welcome to arrange a vase or 2 of flowers in the church, there is no special skill required! For the bigger occasions, we tend to get a few of us together to create something on a slightly larger scale. It’s great fun, always a happy and sociable team effort and a great way of getting to know others from the congregation and community! We’re always looking for volunteers, so if you’re tempted, email Caroline.
